If you receive an error message stating that your account is inactive or disabled, it may be due to one or more of the following reasons:
- Extended inactivity: Your account has been inactive for more than 6 months.
- Email Issues: The email address on file is no longer receiving Meetup notifications.
- Reported or flagged messages: Your account might also be disabled if you have sent too many messages that were flagged by our spam filters or reported by multiple members.
How to reactivate your account
To reactivate your account, please submit a request and select the category I receive an error message when I try to log in or sign up to Meetup. The drop-down menu will specify recurring cases that might indicate why an account has been blocked or disabled.
Our support team will review your request and contact you as soon as possible.
