If recurring payments failed and your organizer subscription was canceled (see: What happens to my groups if my Organizer subscription expires or if I cancel my subscription?), you can restore it by updating your payment method.
Note that we cancel recurring subscriptions automatically when several payment attempts fail because the billing information isn't updated.

For Standard, Pro, or Meetup+ plans, go to your Payment Methods page, select the card, enter the new details, and submit.
To reactivate your subscription after it expired, you may also want to visit your profile's Settings, then Organizer Subscription and reactivate it or start a new subscription from there. Alternatively, you can also reply to any failed payment notices you received via email, and an agent will guide you through re-activating your subscription.

💡 If your payment method expired and you were stepped down as an organizer, after updating your card go to your former group page and click Become the organizer to step back up.
👉 If you don't see the possibility to regain your position as main organizer of your former group, it's likely that someone else took over as new organizer of your group in the meantime. In such a case, follow the steps outlined in Meetup organizer is stepped down
If you started the subscription in the iOS or Android app, manage the subscription (including updating your payment method) directly through the App Store or Google Play, depending on your device.
