How to identify the email address linked to your Meetup account

If you’re having trouble logging in because you don’t remember which email you used to register or you don't remember your login email, don’t worry—there are a few ways you can recover or confirm the email address associated with your Meetup account.

🔍 Option 1: If you're still logged into the Meetup app

Good news — if you're logged in on your phone, you can easily check your account's email address:

  1. Tap your profile icon in the top-right corner.

  2. Go to Settings.

  3. Tap ⚙️ Account Management.

  4. You'll see the email address associated with your account listed there.

Once you’ve confirmed the email address, you can reset your password if needed:

🔍 Option 2: Search your email inboxes

If you’re not sure which email you used, try searching all your email inboxes (including spam/junk folders) for messages from Meetup. Look for subject lines like:

  • “Welcome to Meetup”

  • “Reset your Meetup password”

  • “You have a new message”

This may help you identify which email address is connected to your account.

🔍 Option 3: Check if you used a third-party service

You may have signed up using Google, Facebook, or Apple, rather than a password-based account.

  • Try logging in using those buttons on the login page.

  • If you’re prompted to create a new account, that method likely isn’t linked to your existing profile. Try another option.

Once you've successfully logged in and confirmed the right account, you can update your email or reset your password if needed.
