If you're trying to start a subscription or renew an existing one, but your payment isn't accepted or doesn't go through, make sure to manually enter your credit card details, rather than pasting them or using auto-fill. You may also need to enable JavaScript in your web browser.
If you're still experiencing trouble completing your subscription payment, you can try the following steps:

Clear your browser cache. Sometimes, old cached data can cause issues with form inputs. Clearing the cache may resolve the issue.
If you're using Google Chrome, here are instructions for clearing your cache and cookies. Alternatively, here are instructions for Firefox, Safari, and Microsoft Edge. - Try a different device or browser. If the issue persists, please try using a different device or web browser to complete the payment
Should the same issue occur after trying out the two steps above, please don't hesitate to contact our Support team and provide a screenshot of the error you're seeing as well as all useful details about the payment method you're trying to use.
Payments on a mobile device
Some organizers prefer to complete their subscription payment using the web browser on their mobile device. To do so, follow these steps:
- Open your mobile device's web browser and log into your organizer account on Meetup.com
- Tap the menu icon in the top lefthand corner
- Tap Settings in the pop-up menu
- Tap Organizer Subscription in the lefthand panel
- Tap Update credit card
- Fill out your new billing info and tap Submit
