Meetup is designed to adapt to your browser's font size settings. If text appears too small or too large, you can adjust it directly in your browser and the entire Meetup website will scale accordingly — no account settings required.
Follow the steps below for your browser.
Google Chrome
- Open Chrome and click the three-dot menu (⋮) in the top-right corner.
- Select Settings.
- Under the Appearance section, find Font size.
- Use the dropdown to choose your preferred size (e.g., Medium, Large, Very Large).
- Reload Meetup — the page will scale to match your new setting.
💡 Tip: You can also zoom in or out quickly by pressing Ctrl + + or Ctrl + − (Windows/Linux) or Cmd + + / Cmd + − (Mac).
Mozilla Firefox
- Open Firefox and click the hamburger menu (≡) in the top-right corner.
- Select Settings.
- In the General panel, scroll to the Language and Appearance section.
- Under Fonts and Colors, click Advanced… to set a minimum font size, or adjust the default font size directly.
- Reload Meetup to apply the changes.
💡 Tip: Use Ctrl + + / Ctrl + − (Windows/Linux) or Cmd + + / Cmd + − (Mac) for quick zoom adjustments.
Safari (Mac)
- Open Safari and click Safari in the menu bar, then select Settings… (or Preferences… on older versions).
- Go to the Websites tab.
- Select Page Zoom from the left sidebar to set a default zoom level for all websites or for Meetup specifically.
- Alternatively, set a Minimum Font Size: Go to Safari > Settings > Advanced and check the box for "Never use font sizes smaller than".
- Reload Meetup to see the updated layout.
💡 Tip: You can also use Cmd + + / Cmd + − to zoom in or out at any time.
Microsoft Edge
- Open Edge and click the three-dot menu (⋮) in the top-right corner.
- Select Settings.
- Click Appearance from the left sidebar.
- Under Fonts, adjust the font size to your preference.
- Reload Meetup to apply the changes.
💡 Tip: Use Ctrl + + / Ctrl + − for a quick zoom adjustment without changing your settings permanently.
Opera
- Open Opera and click the Opera logo (O) in the top-left corner.
- Select Settings.
- Navigate to Basic and scroll to the Appearance section.
- Adjust the Font size setting using the dropdown.
- Reload Meetup to see the changes take effect.
