Sometimes, you're notified of a new message in your inbox that doesn't appear when you try and access the message itself.
When that happens, we suggest trying these few steps to overcome the issue:
- Change device. If the issue is occurring on mobile, try accessing your DMs on desktop and vice-versa. Sometimes, changing platform makes a difference!
- Uninstall and re-install the app from your mobile device. If you're having this issue on Meetup's mobile app, try uninstalling and re-installing it again on your device, making sure you're downloading the app's latest version. Here are the relevant steps for both iOS and Android devices.
- Wait a few minutes for your DMs to load. Sometimes, the loading of messages gets stuck and requires a few minutes to show your conversations. Try waiting around 5 minutes for your conversations to load and see if they appear.
