How to pin my event location on a map

The map pin shows the exact spot where your group will meet.

If you’ve already selected a location but the pin isn’t in the right place — for example, for outdoor events, large venues, or campuses — you can adjust the map pin without changing the location address.

We use Google Maps to power location search and suggestions. If a place is not properly listed in Google's database, it may not auto-populate when you create an event. 

Note: Moving the map pin does not change the address shown in the Location field.

Adjust the map pin on the web

1. Create or edit an event

2. In the Location section, select Edit pin

3. Drag the map until the pin is in the correct spot

4. Save your changes

Adjust the map pin in the organizer app (iOS / Android)

2. Tap Event Location, then select Edit on the map

3. Drag the map until the pin is in the correct spot

4. Save your changes
