Changing an account name

You can change your account name by going to your Settings page. Your Meetup account has one default account name for all groups you're a member of. To change your account name, follow these steps:

Desktop/mobile web

1. Click on your profile icon and select Your profile from the drop-down menu.

2. In the Edit profile tab, enter your preferred name.

3. Click Save changes.

iOS/Android apps

1. From the Home tab, tap your circular Profile icon in the top right corner.

2. Tap the three dots (...) icon in the top right corner.

3. Tap Edit my profile, then Account info.

4. Tap on your current name to edit.

5. Tap Update to confirm.
