When your RSVP to an event is confirmed, Meetup automatically generates a ticket for you. The ticket includes a unique QR code along with key details like the event title, your name, and the group name.
You can access your ticket from two places:
- The Event page — look for the ticket entry point, visible once your RSVP is confirmed.
- The Going section on the homepage — when the event is live, you'll find a direct link to your ticket there.
You can download your ticket on both mobile and web.
Good to know
- Tickets are only generated for confirmed RSVPs. If you're on the waitlist, you won't receive a ticket until your RSVP is confirmed.
- If you cancel your RSVP, your QR code becomes invalid. If you RSVP again, a new ticket with a new QR code will be generated.
- Your QR code also becomes invalid if the organizer removes your RSVP or moves you to the waitlist.
