There are a couple of reasons why you might receive an error when attempting to upload a photo to Meetup:
Verify your photo's size. Whether it’s for your profile, a group, or an event, photos must be smaller than 10 MB. Additionally, consider that we require a minimum cover photo size of 1200 px by 675 px for groups. The site will reject images that do not meet this requirement. If you see an error about image size, resize the image to exactly 1200 × 675 and try again.
Verify your photo's format. Pictures uploaded to Meetup must be in JPG or PNG format.
Avoid uploading text on your images. If you're still receiving an error, try uploading a photo without any visible text.
Change platform. If the issue occurs on your mobile app, try the same procedure on the desktop website and vice-versa.
Uninstall and re-install the app. If the issue exclusively occurs on the app, try uninstalling and re-installing it again on your device. You can follow Apple's or Google's guidelines on how to do it, depending on your device.
Ensure you group's photo album hasn't reached the limit of photos you can upload. If you’re trying to upload a photo to a group's photo album, keep in mind that every album has a limit of 500 photos. But, there’s no limit to the number of albums a group can have. If the current one has hit its limit, just start a new one.
