If you tried changing the picture of a group, an event, or a profile and the changes you made didn’t apply, you can work around the issue in two ways:
- Verify that the picture you’re trying to upload is within the accepted limits. If an error message pops up when you try and upload your picture, there’s a high chance that the photo can’t be accepted as it’s larger than the accepted limit. In such a case, reduce its size before trying again.
- Try switching between Meetup’s website and mobile app. If the issue with the picture uploading occurs on the app, try the same procedure on web and vice-versa.
If you managed to upload a new picture for one of your groups, but its preview picture on the My Groups page shows a generic image and not the photo you chose, please know we are aware of a potential issue affecting this feature and we're working to fix it!
