When someone sends you a friend request, you'll be notified via email and push notification. You can view and respond to requests from the dedicated Friend Requests section, which is accessible on all platforms.
You can choose to accept or decline each request. If you decline, the other person will not be notified that you declined, and they won't be able to send you another request for a while.
If needed, you can also block or report the user.
What happens when I accept a friend request?
When you accept a friend request, you and the other person will be able to see each other's upcoming events on each other's profiles. This makes it easy to find events you're both attending and meet up in real life. Make sure you only accept requests from people you're comfortable sharing your upcoming events with.
