When you find a group you want to be part of, it’s easy to join. Once you do, you can connect with other members in the group, keep up-to-date with what’s going on, and attend events on and offline.
How to Join a Meetup Group
Log in to your Meetup account
Go to the homepage of the group you want to join
Click Join this group

Depending on the group’s settings, you will either:
Become a member right away, or
Wait for the organizer to approve your request
Where to Find Your Groups
After you’ve joined a group:
Visit the Meetup homepage to review your groups.
Or, click your profile icon in the top right corner and select Your groups from the dropdown menu.
Troubleshooting: Can’t Join a Group?
If you’re having trouble joining a group:
Try switching devices (e.g., use the mobile app instead of the web version, or vice versa).
If the issue continues, don't hesitate to let us know, including a screenshot of the error and sharing the direct link to the group you’re trying to join.
💡 Some groups require organizer approval, so you may need to wait for confirmation before becoming a member.
