The interests you select help to connect you with groups that may interest you. By default, anyone with a Meetup+ subscription can see a list of the interests you selected on your profile. You can hide this list from your profile in your privacy settings.
To hide your interests on your profile, follow these steps:
Desktop / mobile web
Click the circular profile button in the top right-hand, and then Settings
Click Edit Profile
Scroll down and toggle Show interests
Click Save Changes
iOS / Android apps
From the Home tab, tap your profile icon in the top right corner.
Tap the "..." three dots icon in the top right corner.
Tap Edit my profile.
Scroll down to Privacy and toggle Show interests on profile.
Can I also hide my email address along with my interests?
We treat your email address as personal information. This is why your email is never shown on your public profile and other members cannot see it.
When you view your profile while logged in, you may see your email address as this can be helpful if you don't see your groups or can't find your organizer tools, but that view is private to you. There is nothing you need to change to hide it—your email is already not shared through your profile.
