When you try and manually record dues for some of your members, you may encounter an error message saying "Something went wrong. Please try again" that prevents you from doing so. We observed that when this happens, it's usually because you're trying to record a payment that exceeds the billing period you set for your group.
For instance, if your group has monthly payments set up, you won't be able to record payments that end on a date that's further in the future than the current month.
💡In practice, if your group has a monthly payment set up and you register a payment on e.g. December 2, 2024, make sure to set the payment to be valid until January 2, 2025. Setting it until a later date (e.g. January 3, 2025) will trigger the error that you reported.
We recognize the error message you got isn't easy to understand at a first glance and we're sorry for any misunderstanding it could cause! That's why we're working on making the experience easier to understand in the shortest time possible.
