Absolutely! Everyone can enjoy the core features of what Meetup has to offer (attending events, joining groups), even without a paid subscription.
If you try and access premium feature, a pop-up will inform you that an upgrade to Meetup+ is necessary to get full visibility. To get out of the pop-up and revert to the free experience, just click the Continue with free plan link at the top of the Meetup+ pop-up.
By reverting to the free experience, you can still:
✅ Discover new groups and events based on their interests and location
✅ Join and RSVP for an unlimited number of groups and events
✅ Connect with other members through public community channels, like Group Discussion and Event Comments
✅ Connect with organizers and event hosts via direct messages
However, you will lose access to the list of other attendees or group members along with other premium functionalities that are only available to Meetup+ subscribers.
