What is a Super Organizer?
Super Organizers are Meetup organizers who, in recent months, have consistently brought large numbers of people together through their events, creating highly active and engaged communities.
How is Super Organizer status awarded?
Note: Super Organizer status is not yet available in the US, but it will be coming soon! |
Every quarter, Meetup reviews activity over the past months to recognize organizers whose events have consistently brought the highest levels of participation on the platform.
Super Organizer status reflects recent performance and is not a permanent recognition. It is reassessed quarterly to ensure it remains meaningful and up to date.
What does the badge mean?
When you see the Super Organizer badge, it means that organizer has recently been especially successful at bringing people together and driving participation within their groups on Meetup.
The badge is a way for Meetup to:
publicly recognize outstanding organizers
celebrate the effort it takes to build active communities
signal high-quality, well-attended events across the platform
Can Super Organizer status be removed?
Yes. Since the badge reflects recent activity, it is reassessed every quarter.
If an organizer’s events no longer see the same level of member participation, the badge may be temporarily removed — and automatically restored in a future assessment when participation increases again.
