With your Meetup Pro subscription, you can personally manage groups in your network or delegate those responsibilities to another organizer.
Under the ownership model, the network administrator is the organizer for each group in the network. As a network administrator, you’ll have greater control over how the groups are run on a day-to-day basis.
Under the sponsorship model, you can both organize groups and sponsor organizers to run a group within your network. You’ll cover the organizing costs for all of your groups by issuing coupons and each group’s organizer will manage the day-to-day tasks of that group.
Issuing a coupon
Network administrators can issue coupons from the Groups page of their admin tools.
To issue a coupon:
- Navigate to the Groups page.
- Click Add group.
- Click on Create a Ticket to export the coupon link.
- Share the link with an organizer.
The organizer will use this coupon to connect their group to your Pro Network.
