Contacting other members and organizers

Connecting with the other members of your Meetup group is a great way to stay informed. Depending on who you’re trying to contact, there are several different ways to do so.

Member-to-member messaging is only available with Meetup+ or Standard/Pro Organizer subscriptions. This feature allows members to send direct messages to other members they meet through events or groups.

However, members can message their group organizers, regardless of whether they have any active subscriptions, unless the organizer has blocked receiving messages.

Note that, if an organizer (or another member) has blocked receiving messages, we cannot relay messages or override their settings. If you are a member of the group, you can view any upcoming events on the group's homepage. We cannot share information from a group if you are not a member.
