Active Meetup members are those who engage with the platform and therefore continue to receive updates via emails and notifications related to your group and events.
A member is considered active if they've performed any of the following actions within the last 180 days:
- Logged into their account
- Visited a group page
- Opened an email from a group
- RSVP’d to an event
- Scheduled an event as an organizer
Members are marked as inactive after six months of no interaction with the platform. Due to their disengagement, Meetup stops including them in email lists for updates.
If you, as organizer, want to reconnect with the inactive Meetup members in your groups, you can send a personalized re-engagement email. You can do so by following these steps.
❗Please be advised that you can only perform this action once every two months.
