When you have lots of interests, it’s only natural to want to share them all. If you can’t find a local Meetup group that fits what you’re looking for, we encourage you to start one yourself!
You can organize one or more groups depending on the Organizer plan you subscribe to:
- Organizers on a Starter plan can organize up to one group. Meetup Starter is a free free plan designed to ease first-time organizers into the Meetup experience. Organizers on this plan can create up to one group and can't become organizers of already existing groups. Find out more about what opportunities you get with Starter in our dedicated article Meetup Starter - Overview and FAQ.
-
Organizers on a Standard plan can lead up to three groups. The same price applies whether you organize one, two, or three groups as a Standard organizer and you can decide to create your groups from scratch or to step up as organizer of an existing group.
- Organizers on a Pro plan can organize an unlimited number of groups. If you’re interested in building a larger network of communities, or if you're currently managing more than three groups using separate accounts, we encourage you to check out Meetup Pro. Your billing will change depending on how many groups you organize, as it follows a pay-per-group logic.
If you decide to organize more than one group, we recommend appointing a leadership team to help you manage the additional responsibilities. Your leadership team can help host events, moderate discussions, and keep your community thriving.
