    Tracking Super Group status
  • The Super Group program (currently in beta) celebrates Meetup groups and organizers who build extraordinary in-person communities. Super Groups meet regularly, get great ratings, and have an active leadership team.

Super Groups are recognizable by a badge on their homepage and a label on their event pages. (Currently on desktop and mobile web. Android and iOS coming soon.)

    Becoming a Super Group

We evaluate all groups in participating cities every three months. Organizers will receive an update from Meetup if their group’s status changes. Super Group status is not changed between the three-month assessments.

Super Groups that do not maintain the Super Group criteria will be removed during the next assessment period.

The Super Group program is currently live in Boston, Chicago, Denver, Raleigh, and Seattle. Please share your feedback about the Super Group program here. The Super Group program will continue to evolve with your feedback.
