Share an event template with local organizers to create branded events across your entire network. Event templates will automatically populate event titles and descriptions for group organizers who are scheduling new events.
You can create or edit templates from your Templates page.
Creating a new template
- In your Meetup Pro navigation bar, select Templates.
- Then click New Template.
- Fill out the template name, event title, and description and designate if it’s an online event.
- Click Create to save it.
When local organizers schedule events for their group, they’ll be able to select from your list of templates.
Creating online event templates
When you select the option to create an online event template, you can add a video conferencing link. Use this to invite groups in your network to the same online event.
Make sure you designate the time and timezone of your online event in the description. Local organizers will need to adjust the time of their event depending on their timezone.
Adding a video conferencing link
The link in your online event template must be related to a video conferencing service. Don’t include any additional text aside from the link or use a link shortener.
