Schedule an event to repeat every week, every two weeks, or every month in the Optional settings when you create a new event. Repeating events will all appear on your group’s calendar and the information on the events will be identical aside from their date.
Repeating events can be scheduled on Meetup’s desktop and mobile website.
To schedule a repeating event:
- From your Meetup group’s homepage, select Create event and then Create a new event.
- Toggle Repeat event under Optional settings.
- Select how often the event will repeat, which days of the week it will repeat, and set an end date
When creating a recurring event, selecting an end date is required. By default, the end date is set to six months after the first event in the series. However, this date can be customized—feel free to choose a date further in the future to extend your recurring event series as needed.
To set up your event to repeat daily, select Every week as the repetition frequency. Then, under Select which days, choose all days of the week. This will make your event repeat every day.
When setting your event to repeat every two weeks or every month, the day of the week for future events will be based on the start date of your original event. For example, if your first event is scheduled on a Thursday, all upcoming events in the series will repeat on Thursdays. To change the day, simply adjust the date of the next event in the series—future events will follow the new pattern.

You can choose to announce the first event in the series to members right away or do it later. Future events in the series are automatically shared with members 6 days and 1 day before each event.
