When you find a group you want to be part of, it’s easy to join. Once you do, you can connect with other members in the group, keep up-to-date with what’s going on, and attend events on and offline.
To join a group:
- Log in to your account.
- Go to the homepage for the group you want to join.
- Click Join this group.
- Depending on the settings for the group, you will either be added as a new member right away or once the organizer approves your request.
Once you've joined a group, you can always review your groups on the Meetup homepage. You can also click your profile icon in the top righthand corner and select Your groups from the dropdown menu.
Can't join a Meetup group?
If you can't join a Meetup group (e.g., an error pops up, or the operations fail), you can change the device from which you're trying to access the group (from App to Web or vice versa).
If the issue isn't resolved, you can contact our Customer Support by sharing a detailed screenshot of the error you're seeing and the precise link of the group.
