Our Trust and Safety team carefully reviews all reports regarding groups and events. Based on our policies and Community Guidelines, we take appropriate action as needed, but we do not disclose the outcomes of these reviews to protect our members' privacy.
How to Report a Group
Desktop & Mobile Web

Visit the Group Homepage: Navigate to the homepage of the group you wish to report.

Access the Reporting Option: If you are a group member, click You're a member. Non-members should click the three-dot icon instead.

Submit Your Report:
- Select Report group.
- Choose the reason for your report.
- Confirm your selection by clicking Next.
Android & iOS App

Open the Group Homepage: Launch the group’s page within the app.

Access the Reporting Option: Tap the three-dots icon in the upper right-hand corner.

Submit Your Report:
- Select Report this group from the drop-down menu.
- Choose the reason for your report and tap Next.
- Enter any additional information you believe is relevant, then tap Report.
How to Report an Event
Desktop & Mobile Web

Visit the Event Homepage: Navigate to the event page on the Meetup website.

Locate the Report Option: On the right side of the event page, scroll past the calendar and location details.

Submit Your Report: Click Report this event.
As local governments announce that meeting in person is safe, Meetup will support community efforts to host events. If you notice an issue with an event, please use the steps above to report it so that we can ensure the safety and quality of our community experience.
