If you are an Organizer (on a Starter, Standard, or PRO plan) or have an active Meetup+ subscription, you can discover more by having a look at the attendees list. To access your attendees list, follow these steps on your device (desktop or apps):
- Go to the event homepage.
- Select Going.
If the event has already ended, the link will say Went instead of Going.
Viewing the attendees list
With a Meetup+ or Organizer subscription, you can quickly look up any attendee of an event before the event begins. Use the search bar at the top of the list to search for an attendee by name.
Tap the menu icon in the top right corner to sort or reorder your attendees list by:
- Response time - When attendees RSVPed
- Alphabetical
- Relevance
Organizers and Meetup+ subscribers can manage attendance with exclusive features. By tapping the View detailed list toggle, they may also view additional details about each attendee, including:
- Who will be attending an event with this group for the first time
- Who attended an event with you before
- Any interests you share
- What they’re looking to do at the event
If you're not a Meetup+ subscriber or group organizer, you might notice a Detailed view label next to your name when reviewing the event attendee list. This simply indicates that your attendee details, such as shared interests or past event activity, may be visible to organizers and Meetup+ subscribers through the detailed attendance feature. The label itself is not visible to other general members and doesn't affect your ability to join or participate in events.
A broader overview of who you can expect to attend the event can be found on the event homepage in the "Who will be there" section.
